Cooking Guide: (Garlic butter Calamari)

Ingredients: (Serves 3-5 pax)

  • 750g Squid tube
  • 87.5g butter
  • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbs chopped parsley
  • Grated zest of 1 large lemon
  • Juice of 1 large lemon
  • Salt and grounded black pepper (To taste)

Preparation Method:

1. Preparing the Squid: Remove backbone and outer skin (if any). Rinse body and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut squid tube in uniformly thin slices.

2. Cooking: In a large frying-pan, melt the butter then add the crushed garlic. Fry the sliced squid for about 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat

3. Seasoning and plating the Squid: In the frying pan, add the parsley, lemon zest & juice on the cooked squid and mix evenly. Season with salt and pepper (to taste). Plate the seasoned squid and serve while hot. Enjoy!
